Jennifer Molina, executive producer and content strategist for Wochit Productions, is an Emmy-award winning filmmaker and producer of documentary films such as Uniform Betrayal: Rape in the Military and life @ the end: caring in the face of loss, In her current role, she leads Wochit's team of content creators who produce over 400 videos each day with an emphasis on journalistic storytelling.
Prior to Wochit, Molina was executive producer at Tribune Publishing Video and executive director and editor at HealthyState.org, a multimedia project covering health in the state of Florida. She also served as senior video producer at Newsweek.com where she produced and edited stories on topical, socio-political, cultural and medical issues, and at the United Nations in Rome, Italy, where she produced and edited promotional videos and developed websites for UN-affiliated programs.
Molina remains active in the film industry, conducting international workshops and serving as an adjunct at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She is currently producing Rumberas y Vedettes; a film that tells the story of Cuban women who danced their way to stardom in cabaret and Mexican cinema during the 1940s and 50s. www.rumberasyvedettes.com.
